my only critique is that he does not have immense magical talent. he spent 2 of his first three years deciphering the local language and skill grinding at every opportunity. he puts in the work, but people don't get that because the show basically musical-montaged it out in "secret training" which the other characters are unaware of causing them to assume talent which reinforces the talent perception of viewers that didn't pay attention. The Water Mage had this same issue when it got animated, montaging the entire first story arc into one episode. the only reason it gets a small pass is because reading an isolation story comes with internal narration that just doesn't feel right in an animated or live acted medium.

he does Suffer though he died and was traumatized because of orsted, nanahoshi got sick and he had to safe her, he got teleported with eris to the demon continent even though he had ruijerd its still a very Tuff condition to life in he also got captured for about a month and when Things started to get better and he Found his father he and him had issues that got resolved but it made norn hate him, then the first time he engaged romantical with eris she left him and he was Hella depressed and then he found sara but she left him aswell and he even Tried to khs and then when he got together with sylphie he had to risk his life and make a Hard decision to safe his mother and in the process lost his dad and Hand and then got taken advantage of by roxy , when Things got better again he lost everything but it didnt happen to Our Main rudy he still suffererd from the diary and got traumatized and was scared because of the mangod and then had to fight orsted that does not Sound like he got rewarded at all but sufferd mostly he did not get rewarded as much as you said

Exactly, I have an issue with the pedophilia but the fact it’s kinda just there for no reason is what makes it such a good criticism like when they try to compare it to Erens rumbling it just doesn’t fit. Erens rumbling had reasoning and effect, the story would’ve shifted so much without it vs rudues being a pdf if he wasn’t how much would really change?

i like the show but it deserves everybit of the hate rudius is a scumbag even if we forgive his entire were he was reincarnated and skip him spying on his own parents f and the the entire pantie secene ..... your still left with f his cousin multiple explotation to the 2 cats girls the cheating the multiple forms of manipulation in the light novel and his entire life in the parallel world and even in her friends death bed when she ask who were you in the realworld he was still ashamed of who he was cause he knows he dint change he just looks diferent

Honestly great opinion, tho the Paul part I feel isn't that well said. In the loght novel they mention that they have tried MAAAANY things and Roxy ended up being the final push. He was drowning his sadness in a person he almost always loved and trying to push away the fact his father died until he could accept it. We see that he still has some fall backs before going back home even with Roxy with him

I mean the wife’s argument is kinda stupid because they it’s kinda obvious why they give him unconditional love, he protected eris and taught her how to write,read, magic and they were adventuring for years, sylphie he helped her so she would stop getting bullied and also taught her many things, Roxy he saved her life and she was his dream “prince” or whatever she said because her dream was to be saved in a labyrinth/maze whatever u wanna call it. I think the fact that he can do whatever he wants in the new world but doesn’t do it also shows immense character development because if he was as bad as most say he would have done a lot of horrible things since nobody can stop him (oldeus),but he could’ve been even worse. I think when Paul died I didn’t like how he overcame it but he did struggle a lot until Roxy “helped” him which for that time was “normal” to do if someone was sad or smth and Paul’s death developed Rudy a lot and he grew from it a lot.
