WHEN THE BLACK TIDE COMES” is a Heavy Thrash Metal anthem by The Drops, inspired by the raw aggression and epic songwriting of Metallica. The song tells the story of a final stand against an overwhelming, apocalyptic force — the Black Tide. It is about resistance, brotherhood, sacrifice, and the choice to stand firm even when the horizon burns, the gates fall, and every oath turns to dust. From the cold atmospheric intro and heavy palm-muted riffs to the anthemic gang-vocal chorus and the crushing half-time breakdown, the track captures the chaos of battle and the silence that follows. The artwork, in the style of Derek Riggs, follows the lyrics from the first bell toll to the final flood. No surrender. No regret. https://www.youtube.com/@Musicreator-69 #thedrops #metal #heavymetal #thrashmetal #thrash - @thedrops2026
