@sinnfein: This Budget was another opportunity to put workers and families first and make life more affordable. Government failed to deliver the support people needed. Cutting USC on the first €40,000 earned would have put money back in workers’ pockets. Instead, families struggling to fill their oil tanks are being offered just €43 in relief. Government talks about supporting people who work hard. This Budget failed to back those words with action.
