@coachingmindfulheart: The first word ever revealed from the Qur’an… was a command.” اقْرَأْ — READ. 📖 In the silence of Cave Hira, Jibril عليه السلام came to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ with a command that would change the world: “Read.” The Prophet ﷺ replied, “I am not a reader.” This was the beginning of the revelation of the Qur’an. Not with wealth. Not with power. But with knowledge, revelation, and a command to READ. 📖 HADITH — SAHIH AL-BUKHARI 3 Narrated ‘Aishah رضي الله عنها: The revelation began with true dreams. Then the love of seclusion was given to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he would retreat to the Cave of Hira. Then Jibril عليه السلام came to him and said, “Read.” He ﷺ replied: مَا أَنَا بِقَارِئٍ “I am not a reader.” Jibril عليه السلام embraced him and repeated this three times. Then he brought the beginning of Surah Al-‘Alaq (96:1–5). Source: Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 3 — Dar Ibn Kathir edition. #Iqra #Quran #FirstRevelation #SurahAlaq #IslamicReminder
