When i got my first period my cramps were so bad I was doubled over crying (theyve been that bad my whole life I got used to dealing with it eventually) my mom said I could stay home from school if I needed to and I had a full on meltdown cause I didnt want to miss any school work lol, ive never let it affect me more than I had to, some days I really did have to just stay in bed but I always tried to push through it cause I knew id be stuck with it my whole life whether I liked it or not
