Been on Upwork now for two years, it's surely the best, I've done 18+ jobs and also earned top rated. The best advice is always be consistent, despite having other work, always take up projects doesn't matter how small it is, the reputation is much much better than anything else.

that right there is excellent 👌🏾👏🏾 as a beginner V.A i remember i used to be shallow minded and focus on that idea of i want this for this and ignored the short projects. Now i know better not to ignore this short term projects too and not necessarily focusing on a "job". thank u Lucy for pointing this out! 👍 🥰💯

I’ve had been rejected in a couple of interviews when I made it evident that I do other projects on the side… and their justification is I will not be committed to the role. Damned if you do damned if you don’t

Asians have different mentalities compared to us. They go head to head with Americans barefoot and still hand it to them.
