🕊️ Shabbat Shalom and Chag Sukkot Sameach! 🌿🍷 Have a blessed Sabbath and Happy Sukkot in Messiah! It is always a special blessing to celebrate Shabbat on the seventh day of Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles! A beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness, His presence among His people, and the hope we have in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus). Shabbat is a gift from God, a day of rest, worship, and fellowship. From the very beginning, God established the seventh day as holy, reminding us that our lives are not defined by our labor but by our relationship with Him. For believers in Messiah, Shabbat also points us to Yeshua, our true spiritual rest. Through His death and resurrection, we have been reconciled to God and invited into His rest. Yet we still look forward to the day when Messiah returns, establishes His Kingdom, and brings the fullness of God’s promises to completion (Hebrews 4:9-11; Matthew 11:28-29). How fitting that Shabbat falls on the seventh day of Sukkot! Sukkot reminds us of God’s faithfulness in the wilderness and points forward to the day when He will dwell with His people forever. The prophet Zechariah even describes a future when the nations will come to Jerusalem to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles (Zechariah 14:16-19). And as followers of Yeshua, we eagerly anticipate the fulfillment of that promise: the day when our Messiah returns, God’s Kingdom is fully established, and He dwells among us forever (Revelation 21:3-4). May this Shabbat remind us that our Messiah is our rest, our hope, and our coming King. May we rejoice in God’s presence today as we look forward to the day when He makes all things new! May the peace of our Messiah be with you and your family! 🌿🕊️ 📖 Scripture: Genesis 2:2-3; Leviticus 23:33-43; Matthew 11:28-29; Hebrews 4:9-11; Zechariah 14:16-19; Revelation 21:3-4. #sukkot #shabbatshalom #Messianiccongregation #Yeshua
