I only remember learning another language in high school for me to Japanese other languages. I learnt I learn I could in my own time. I don’t remember anyone in primary. I blocked a lot of that out plus the mild concussions. I have got I don’t remember weird but okay so traumatise.

Did Indonesian in primary school and Japanese in high school. Bonus language: learned some Cantonese in the end of primary school because of the Beijing Olympics and having a foreign exchange student

mine was always Italian minus (6 months of a different school that did Japanese) 🙄 even repeated year 3 because of my birthday and im pretty sure all I learnt was numbers upto 10 and like 3 words 🤣

Indonesian from yr 3 - yr 9. I remember how to count, how to say "Hi, my name is ..., what's your name?" and "How are you? I'm fine." Also "Good morning/night". Seven years and that's all I know.

We got French. I remember almost none of it. I was so pissed when the year that foreign language became an elective the school hired a teacher who was trained in more than French. There was options when my entire year dropped the subject.

I learned German for a year at 1 primary school, Indonesian for a few years at my next primary school. Then high school, year 7 was 1 semester French and the other Indonesian. And then if you wanted to continue you could with French or Indonesian.
