The first time I visited my Long distance boyfriend we wanted to watch a lunar eclipse or something that was going on that night. But instead we just went for a walk and I told him, that if this should work longterm, I do not want to sleep on a mattress that only lays on a slatted frame on the floor. so we spend the rest of the weekend at ikea and on my next visit we build a full loft bed in his apartment (and had a trip to the hardware store, with a friend of him who helped us transporting the materials. He even waited with the trip to the hardware store until I visited again, because in the very beginning of us getting to know each other I once told him that I love walking through hardware stores). And now we are 4 years deep into the relationship and one year ago he moved into my apartment (without his loft bed)
