She inspired me to ask my 14 yo how he wanted morning car rides to be since we end up getting short with each other. He told me he hates talking in the morning and that’s why he has a ‘tude. I stopped trying to talk to him, quiet the whole way but my morning goodbyes have greatly improved from him and he’s become super chatty at dinner. Men’s mental health matters too

I hate the people who claim this is just “teenage attitude”. I have two teenagers in my car in the morning and neither have ever felt the need to act this way. I can tell when they want to talk, when they want the aux cord, when they want to sulk and hate the world. I’m able to understand these moods because I’m an adult who can comprehend boundaries.

It buggs me so much that he’s like obviously uncomfortable with how much she’s touching him and he’s like pushing her hand away and stuff which is like an obvious no don’t touch me and she continues to touch him which is only teaching him that no doesn’t mean no and that’s so infuriating
