I will never get over the fact that they refuse to make carrie fat like that's half the reason she's bullied in the original book is she is fat and every director that ever does a remake of Carrie says that the audience cannot connect or pity a fat woman and so they don't make her character true to the character in the book

And like every Carrie adaptation this one is also just not good I love Carrie always have but can we please stop adding things that don’t exist this book is about a girl struggling with bullying and overcoming societal norms and realizing her own strength and time and time again we lose the basic foundation

I think Emaline is just simply a physical representation of Carrie's deep and twisted toughts. Just simply a part of herself that she refuse to exist. That she knows, just simply doesnt want it. Then she gets rampage and hits her limit

i hope people know that this was still all Carrie’s powers btw yes Emaline took over but that’s just to basically shut that scared part of her up & to utilise her powers properly🫶🏼 she essentially borrowed Carrie’s body & powers to help take everyone out:)
