The only way they can make Hal work is to do Parallax in season 2 in this iteration Parallax also deAges Hal cuz starting the DCU with Legacy characters is a perfect way to flop truly I’m ok with Hal and John coexisting it doesn’t have to be bad for bar accurate but I think they can do damage control if they put their minds to it

id much rather have wally then barry also if batman is already on damian as a robin means nightwing is a thing and wally and dick a great friends so you'd still lose something either way also these characters are old so let them be in the comics they aren't 20 haven't been in ages

Genuinely don’t see this as a bad thing- when I think of DC I think of “Legacy”, it’s something Marvel have fumbled on in their movies. Some of their best stories can be adapted to fit the “new” versions. Batman can always be the same age as Superman, or a bit older. Personally just think it’s a bit different, and that’s fine

DCU is all abt James Gunn and his stories and visions, he isn’t a good storyteller the only good guardians movie was Volume 2 . He has the biggest IP in superhero media ever and completely botches most of the time. Superman was lacklustre at best I don’t understand how people loved it. Even when he lets other people write the stories he green lights the worst stuff and the time line is completely fucked. I dare you to defend the direction he’s going in ts is completely not worth my time

I have no problem with them, making the original characters older, and having their successor the only problem I have is disrespecting the originals, making them really look racist look any kind of way than what they’re actually are. Some of these writers are trying to make Hal Jordan look, racist or like a bigot or like some privileged white man who never suffered in his life that’s the problem.

Guys I think all of you need to relax and just be patient I understand everyone is disappointed that they made Hal so old but I think you guys just gotta deal with the fact that not everything is gonna be comic accurate and Hal probably just don’t know Barry and Oliver in this universe cause he’s way older then them cause Barry is most likely gonna be young since Wally was shown as kid flash in creature commandos and there isn’t any evidence that they’re gonna be old other than fans thinking it’ll happen just because there friends
