@ctvnewstoronto: There are two chows on the mayoral ballot and Olivia Chow noted she almost voted for the other one! Name recognition matters in a mayoral race, but could there be confusion when two candidates share the same last name? #toronto #news

SpazzmasterJ🇨🇦 :

Also, tbh, the "other" Chow seems a lot cooler.😂

the_eradicator01 :

That’s why as a voter you look carefully and pay attention to the ballot structure before you mark the ballot. For example, if I wanted to voted for Olivia Chow, there’s absolutely no way you can confuse Olivia Chow with Braeden Chow. The other thing you can look at is the candidates given email address which is on the ballot as well.

shelleyokedoke🇨🇦❤️ :

I saw that too! haha Olivia still got my vote

Maya :

Okay yall we have to be careful! Have your coffee. Relax. Read carefully. Let’s do this.

Stop your nonsense :

Chow must go.

gatekeeper :

I never voted yet,but it’s Brad .

HipHopVids :

We should all change our last name to CHOW and run in the election. No one will know.

Steve :

I always thought it was bad taste to vote for yourself?

BigWillyStyles :

The person in charge of our city almost voted for someone other than herself… yup… 😳

Naz Ghan :

Never seen/heard of the other Chow and I can still bet they’re a better candidate 😂

chocolatethunder152 :

Holy chow!!

black_cat_meoww :

Braedon Chow’s email is “the real chow” how weird

believe_n_youalways :

This is why I don’t vote municipally, too many names.

biscuitcommander :

a substantial number of people only vote on name recognition so there will be at least several

🇨🇦 Chris :

I wish the local news gave more exposure to the other candidates, watch the guy with the knack tattoos get elected because of the same last name 😂

DementedDennis :

there's hope after all

francowitz :

Wholly chow

Angelus_Damiano :

Good tactic 🤣

Christopher Brenton :

hopefully so

summer_rain :

we can only hope that everyone makes this mistake.

Mr Loverman :

That’s your major !!!!

| ArgentVolk | :

Sounds like a common last name, do people not read the full name?

William Leishman :
