My husband is 90% on board, but since hes the breadwinner of our family, i have to wait until he gets a good paycheck to continue buying. But every time we do groceries i get things little by little. Just got a water purification system on tuesday ✨.

Glad I started prepping early, unexpected surgery will have me out of work for several months. It will eat up some of the prep, but at least we'll have food!

I don’t let my husband tell me no. I don’t let our finances dictate if I’m “able” to prep. He lost his job and I still found a way to prep us. I grew up in extreme poverty with severe abuse. I’m resilient and will ALWAYS find a way. It made me resourceful. I won’t let anyone or any situation slow me down. He hasn’t helped me prep one thing. Literally…it’s exhausting if I’m being honest. Doesn’t want to learn either. I’ve tried… but I can’t let my kids down. I refuse to let them experience what I went through as a kid. I’d rather be exhausted from all the work I put in solo than to have them experience food insecurity or any type of instability. They are my everything and I will sacrifice anything to protect them.

my husband doesn't know what to do when it comes to prepping but he agrees and understands why I'm doing it. I am so close to getting one of those battery generators from ecoflow that will be my most expensive preps to date.

My husband used to ask me what exactly I'm prepping for... I had to explain to him my thought process, and how bad things are getting and how I'm feeling led to prep. He has never had an issue with it, and just lets me do my thing. He will do any project I ask, and I think he really doesn't mind having all sorts of extra food stored up in the pantry. If we "run out" of something, he knows that 9 times out of 10 he just needs to go look in my storage room and he will find a replacement... or several!

Mines 100% on board & helps in all of our prepping over the years. He actually gets excited 😆! Goober, but thank God because I don't know how others put up with lazy, arrogance to such an important subject.

Tried telling some in laws with kids to prep.They told me I was just trying to scare them and nothing will happen.My wife wasn’t on board at first but someone told us to prep in May and told us info then she saw it on social media a few weeks later looked at me and said what do we need to do..

It took him a while to understand and believe the "crazy" stuff I was telling him. He did start watching videos I'd send him and it just started making sense to him..! Now we prep together! 🥰
