I’ve been following Dinky since the beginning and praying for him to make it each day. I ended up having my own Dinky (preemie baby) 3 days ago and she’s fighting in NICU for now. They’re really growing up together 💗 love the Dinky updates

One thing we do in the Pilbara (Australia), is if calves aren’t feeling well or if they didn’t get any colostrum. Put in his milk, a whole egg and a tablespoon of honey. It’s natural anti-inflammatory and heals / gives them a boost. We use a lot of bush medicine up there and that’s one of the things that works the best. Hope dinky feels better soon 🙏❤️

It can just be weather change, or a bug he picked up, random stuff like that. Scouring can also happen with inconsistent milk replacer mixing or irregularly feeding times. Lots of things. He’s eating so he’ll be alright. Probios is my go to when they show minor scours like it looks like he has. Switching him to milk now wouldn’t be worth it. Cause more issues than it’s worth. I’m preferential to land o lakes replacer. I’d check with your coop but I run 22/20 replacer from land o lakes and never really have issues. Other than that it’s just making sure everything’s good and clean. I make sure milk temps are 101 when they hit the calf. Get it as close to. I rarely see scours when you do these things. I’d bet good money he either picked up a bug or weather change. I’d just feed it out of him.
