Dickson Emrys Harvey :
Sometimes, the reason people find themselves in difficult situations is simply because they refuse to live within their means. Look at the money you earn and be realistic about the lifestyle you can afford. You cannot earn a small salary and go and rent an apartment that consumes most of your income just to prove to people that you are “living large.” Who exactly are you competing with? What are you trying to prove, and to whom Sometimes, get yourself a decent place where you can rest your head, save your money, invest in yourself, and work toward something better. There is absolutely nothing impressive about spending your entire salary on rent, agent fees, and unnecessary expenses just so you can tell people, “I live here.” Stop buying pressure for yourself. You are not in competition with anybody. Live according to your means. Cut your coat according to your size. Build yourself quietly, save wisely, and improve your life step by step. Because at the end of the day, the people you are trying to impress will not pay your bills.
