@astralfrontiers: We created this animation to show how long light takes to travel from the Sun to each planet in our solar system. ☀️ Light travels at nearly 300,000 kilometres per second, yet even at that speed, it takes hours to reach the outer planets. 🔹 Mercury: 3 min 13 sec 🔹 Venus: 6 min 1 sec 🔹 Earth: 8 min 19 sec 🔹 Mars: 12 min 41 sec 🔹 Jupiter: 43 min 17 sec 🔹 Saturn: 1 hr 19 min 37 sec 🔹 Uranus: 2 hr 39 min 23 sec 🔹 Neptune: 4 hr 11 min The sunlight reaching Earth now left the Sun more than eight minutes ago. From Neptune, you would see the Sun as it was over four hours in the past. Looking across space also means looking back in time. These times are approximate and based on average orbital distances. The actual travel time varies as each planet moves along its orbit. Follow @astralfrontiers for more astronomy and space animations. 🌌 #AstralFrontiers #Astronomy #Space #SolarSystem #SpeedOfLight

and Pluto?

Bobby Aroga :

I believe that the sun still shine beyond Neptune.

Sun is pure white

Pluto ?

어둠 _79ST :

no pluto no like

fullofsame :

The speed of light is nothing, when you look at the distances in the Universe. IT WOULD TAKE US 2.5 MILLION YEARS JUST TO GET TO ANDROMEDA AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT AS AN EXAMPLE. So we were never ment to know all that what's out there. OBVIOUSLY !

Super cool....

Make time proportional so distance has better representation
