Now I need to know everybody else’s nicknames. And this is why I quit working in childcare after a very short amount of time. It’s not the kids. It’s the parents. It was all I could do not to lose it when the Mom, who’s child bit everybody else and said that that’s just what small children do, lost it when someone bit her kid back. Obviously, her BS excuses only applied to her child. The struggle to remain professional was very real. I was going to get fired if that kept happening so I put in my notice.

Sic, Mandy and Geraldine on her. They won’t let her take the crown of most “concerned” parent. (Cough cough annoying). I mean at least they come and ask and wear their concerns like a badge of honor. As someone who’s worked with kids and parents I would so much rather talk to the Mandy’s and Geraldine’s even the parent last week with the mumbling. At least they come up and talk to you honestly.
