I find it funny how people hate that a character isn't their standard of attractive, so its "woke", but those same people will have an abomination of a custom character in games like Elden Ring or Dragon's Dogma 2. Then they'll say things are shoved down their throats when majority of the time, the engagement with it is usually either optional or not something that really changes how they play the game.

people complaining about women in Gears of War were never fans at all, they have never played the older GOWs. we got Sam, Anya, Bernie, Sofia, Alicia, the Stranded Warehouse leader who was excited when she gets to meet Cole Train, the other Woman Leader near the Cougars Stadium, Queen Myrrah. They were great characters. I don't get why it's a problem when Women was in the GOW games ever since the beginning.
