I found faith. I found the belief that I was worthy of everything God placed on my heart. I’m not perfect. I’m not the best. I wasn’t the first. I was just consistent. I refused to let negativity take me out of the game. A lot of people don’t like me anymore because of my success, and it is what it is. But it wasn’t always like this. I was once overlooked. I was on food stamps. I lived paycheck to paycheck. There were no handouts. That is exactly why I’m so passionate about teaching and helping people rise. I’ll never forget what it feels like to need a way out. I was always told, when you make it to the top, send the ladder back down. Success is not just what you make. It’s who you become and how you help others along the way. God is so good. I’m so thankful. And the most beautiful part is, this is still only the beginning.
