If you wanted to save the dress you could do a beaded embroidery/ or normal embroidery on holes. But you would probably have to do more than just on the hole for it to look natural.

At least it wasn't the day of the wedding, I tore a hole in my bridesmaids dress with my heel during photos at the hotel before the ceremony, which was at a local church. This was my big sister's wedding 8 years ago.
