@ballercribs: Old St. Augustine Hills is a gated estate of about 100 acres in the Red Hills outside Tallahassee, fronting a live-oak canopy road that has carried travelers since the 1680s. A paved drive runs more than half a mile under Southern magnolias and over a wooden bridge, past two fruit orchards, to a 6,000-sq-ft cypress post-and-beam house built in 2005. The great room rises 25 feet to solid cypress beams, and a glass wall opens all the way to the porch and the water. The house sells fully furnished, including the furniture and art made for it. Out on the land there are two spring-fed bass ponds (one with a dock), a cypress pond where wood ducks winter, wild quail in the uplands, and an irrigated ball field. The ultimate flex? Tailgate under your own oaks on game day, then be in your seat at Doak Campbell in about 20 minutes. Back home, there's a heated waterfall pool set with Tennessee boulders, a jump rock, and a full outdoor kitchen.
