Nevermind I won't even be able to tell if anyone else is experiencing this because I can't see my comments. Just kill me

this is happening to me too, this app has also been having my followers unfollow me and it’s been having me unfollow other accounts too

I haven’t really noticed comments missing, but I know there’s lots of comments I haven’t gotten notifications for!

This hasn't been happening to me with new videos, but any video of mine that reaches a couple months old will have comments start disappearing. I've been dealing with it for over a year and I lowkey just gave up.

Yep I'm having this issue too and I don't post regularly.

That is crazy. That seems less like a bug and more like obfuscation. If it gives you the number of comments it recognises that its there, if it was an issue with loading you would see the loading icon as you get to the bottom. Those comments may be intentionally hidden.

It’s not only comments either, I can’t see my friends recent profile picture updated but in my alt account I can see them all it’s so weird and no idea how to fix it

Wait would we even know if this is happening without having a another account to check from? Or is that the only way? x.x this is so lame and im sorry you’re dealing with that

This has been happening to me for the past 3 months or so now. I have to scroll through each post to read comments because I don’t get notifications. But I did also learn that if someone comments & then blocks you, TikTok will still count that comment even though it’s not publically visible anymore. It seems to be a bug that’s messing up in a lot of ways

it's been going on with me for a full 2 months now, I can only see some comments on an alt account and I have to manually send it to my main account and then boom I can see them
