@mrjebsmith: The Laguna Cliffs you remember is getting a major transformation. 🌊 The Dana Point hotel is undergoing a multimillion-dollar renovation to become The Ocean Cliffs at Dana Point, a JW Marriott Resort, making it Orange County’s second JW Marriott. Plans include a pool twice the size of the previous one, a 15,000-square-foot event courtyard, a new 6,000-square-foot ballroom, and an upstairs restaurant with a wraparound balcony for ocean-view dining. The lobby will get taller windows to open up harbor views, plus a grab-and-go marketplace. Outside, the familiar blue exterior and red roofs will change to white and gray. The 371 guest rooms are also scheduled for a refresh. The resort remains open, with the main renovations targeted for early 2027 as Dana Point Harbor undergoes its own $700 million revitalization.
