@thescore: The Orioles just laid off their MASCOTS?! 😱 #MLB #orioles #mascot

YotaCruisin1776 :

We’ll see the Orioles leave Baltimore in this lifetime.

Colton :

Neither of them are done they are keeping there money for the lockout and will rehire them when the season picks back up whenever that is

Dekow79 :

Mr Splash gimmick was so stupid!!!

Greg 🇨🇦 :

time to move. they can't fill the stands anymore even with decent teams.

Matt 🐭🚌💨 :

I’m honestly surprised Mr Splash lasted this long. It’s long outlived the player celebration that inspired it. I thought it would just be a one year thing.

mikek0830 :

Come on down to charlotte! you can have a new nest!!!!

chefrol :

Will "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" be dropped next??

Mac Love773 :

Billyboy :

dhaifyyqbo2 :

But Elias has a job?

King Rice 11 :

They should have a pigeon

MarkM :

Mr splash should of been gone

Matthew Ice :

Mr. Splash was awesome. But he was completely based on their dugout celebration that has since stopped. So he was on borrowed time and gets to have those memories for a lifetime!

Timothy Sanders51 :

Hmm, Let see, the season is over correct? why pay them for 12 months? If they play in 2027 not locking out the players, I am sure they will hire them back in March

Suzanne Yoder :

It was more than one that played as the mascot. Dear God what is this owner doing?

eric_the_ballpark_nerd :

They anticipate a long work stoppage next year

Billyboy :
