Push and plate: If you force the enemy to recall or kill them, push the wave into their turret to steal gold from their shield. Respect Missing Enemies: Keep an eye on the mini-map. If the enemy Mid Laner, Roamer, or Jungler disappears from the map, assume they are coming to gank you. Play near your turret. Don't Die for a Turret: Giving up your outer turret is better than dying and losing the turret anyway. 2. Mid Game (5–10 Minutes): Rotate Smartly Once shield plating drops at 5 minutes, the lane becomes less rewarding to purely sit in. Hit Your Power Spikes: Know when your hero is ready to fight. Most Marksmen need 2 to 3 core items (e.g., Corrosion Scythe + Demon Hunter Sword, or Haas's Claws + Berserker's Fury) before they deal impactful damage. Farm Efficiently: Take safe side jungle camps between wave clears, but don't steal buffs from your Jungler early on unless they give permission. Join Objective Fights Safely: Only rotate to Turtle or Mid turrets if your minion wave is cleared. Never walk through face-check bushes alone—let your Tank/Roamer walk ahead of you to clear vision. 3. Late Game (10+ Minutes): Master Positioning In the late game, you are your team's main win condition. One wrong step means defeat; good positioning wins the match. Stay in the Backline: Position behind your frontline (Tanks/Fighters). Never start a fight yourself unless you are playing an initiator MM like Moskov or Claude with a setup. Hit What is Safe: Do not try to dive the enemy backline past their tanks. Deal sustained damage to whoever is closest to you safely. Track Enemy Assassin/EXP Spells: Watch out for enemy burst heroes (e.g., Ling, Fanny, Chou, Yu Zhong).
