@wildlygeorgia: I used to be SO AFFECTED by hate comments it would literally keep me up at night and I would feel so much anxiety even thinking about opening social media… Now I realise if strangers online are insulting me as a person it cannot hurt me because they don’t even know me. More than half the time they aren’t even listening to a full video or open to someone having a different perspective. I’m all for healthy debate and conversation surrounding the many topics I speak on but not open for direct personal attacks at me - it’s not something I can take personally. What I do take more personally is people who actually know me in real life, know my character, values, personality and background. I’m totally open for correction in fact it’s essential but not from strangers online calling me names and making assumptions about my life or who I am. In a nutshell - if they’re insulting you don’t take it personally. #hatecomments #contentcreation #reality #highlysensitiveperson
