@thenfldrop: REPORT: Josh Allen and Kyle Allen will be competing for the Bills starting QB position vs the Rams on Monday night. Josh Allen is currently the frontrunner. Monday night's game between the Bills and Rams is still next week, on October 12 at SoFi Stadium, and expectations are high on both sides. It has been ranked as the most anticipated Monday Night Football game of the season, and some previews have called it a possible Super Bowl preview. ESPN's preseason numbers had the two teams with the highest playoff probabilities in the league, and the Rams were the Super Bowl favorites heading into the year, which makes Los Angeles the home side most people will lean toward. For Buffalo, the main question is how far along the team is with its new defensive scheme, which ESPN named as the Bills' biggest concern. The offensive matchup is the draw, with Josh Allen or Kyle Allen facing Matthew Stafford with Allen on the road, and Matthew chasing a touchdown record behind a deep group of receivers. The last time Buffalo played in Los Angeles, the Rams won 44-42 in 2024, so a high-scoring game would not be a surprise.
