@jon.nowa: Favorite meal in Boston so far 👇 Boston Sail Loft sits right on the water at 80 Atlantic Ave and has been family owned since 1984. It's best known for its clam chowder, which Boston Magazine has called the best in the city, so we had to see if it lived up to it. We showed up around 1:45pm on a Friday and waited about 45 minutes. They don't take reservations, so it's first come, first served. The clam chowder was a little more liquidy than the chowder you get on the west coast, and it had a good amount of dill, which was a different twist I really liked. There were clam chunks in almost every bite. It wasn't too salty and it wasn't too seafood tasting. I'd get it again in a heartbeat. The lobster mac was a very pleasant surprise. The whole top is a layer of cheese broiled until it's stretchy and thick, and the lobster isn't just on top. There were huge chunks mixed into the mac all the way through. It comes with a side salad. The lobster roll was hot with butter and overflowing with lobster. The roll was soft with a slight crunch on the outside, and the fries were soft inside and crispy on the outside.
