My mom grew up on a hobby farm too mostly because they had 13 kids to feed and it was easier to raise their food then to go out and buy it. When my childhood dog died when I was 19, of course I was a sobbing mess and I was talking to her about it and she was crying and she told me she’s not crying because we had to put the dog down. She was crying for me and my brother because when she was growing up, they ate their pets lol. She said that one day they could leave for school and then come home and never see one of their pets again and then have beef for dinner or something. It’s just the way of life and it’s an understood part of the process when you own several animals.

Don’t say you think you failed. You have done great with all your animals. Like you say, this comes with owning farm animals. It’s always hard losing a pet or a human. RIP Marshall.

I’m sorry that we have lost Marshall, but grateful that you gave him a wonderful home. I’ve followed you for almost as long as you have been doing these videos. We have been through a lot! Two years ago when Gracie passed away I found a homeless kitten and named her Gracie in remembrance of your beloved corgi. I kind of look at it as us all being in it together!

I remember when you lost your Australian shepherd I can’t remember his name exactly, but it was a very long while back and I cried, and cried and I was completely devastated so it is understandable and of course you need to let us all know so we don’t wonder but my condolences to you and your family and know he is still spiritually around and maybe he will give you a sign someday saying thank you for all the love and comfort you provided 🙏🏼🕊️🤍❤️❤️❤️
