We watched Haunting of Hill House when it first came out, then we lost our daughter in 2021. We recently rewatched the series, and my goodness. It hits so completely different now. We had to pause it several times towards the end because we were crying so hard.

I wonder if he knows how important hill house is to those of us who have experienced deep, profound grief. I did a rewatch of it a month after my dad died. I cried and cried. I was so sad, but after a week of watching it a tiny little part of me felt lighter.
