@islanderstv: It was a beautiful celebration of love, unity and togetherness as Oyinlola, daughter of the popular Yinkus Restaurant owner, tied the knot with her heartthrob, Olamilekan, on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Ibadan, Oyo State. The colourful wedding ceremony, held at Tutu’s Event Place, Ojo Road, Ibadan, was filled with warmth, joy and memorable moments as family members, friends and well-wishers gathered to celebrate the newlyweds and witness the beginning of their journey together as husband and wife. As Oyinlola and Olamilekan begin this beautiful new chapter of their lives, their wedding celebration stood as a testament to love, commitment, family and togetherness. Adding more excitement to the celebration, King of Music, Saheed Osupa, delivered a memorable performance that thrilled the audience. The Fuji maestro entertained guests with his philosophical lyrics, thought-provoking messages and captivating musical performance, creating an unforgettable atmosphere at the wedding. @feyintola124 #Islandersevents_parties_

THUNDER BAY — PLEASE SHARE. WE NEED HELP SAVING THIS PELICAN. For the past few months, I’ve been watching a lone pelican who has remained in the same area here in Thunder Bay. I’ve been increasingly worried that something was wrong and that he may be injured. Today, my brother and I took a canoe out to get a closer look and try to better assess his condition. Unfortunately, what we feared appears to be true: he cannot fly. With winter approaching, this has now become urgent. If we cannot get him help, he is very unlikely to survive. I have been trying to find someone who can help. Our local wildlife rescue is unable to take this on, but Turtle Pond Wildlife Centre in the Sudbury area is willing to care for him if we can get him safely captured and transported there. So I’m reaching out to Thunder Bay and surrounding communities. We need TWO things: 🦤 Someone experienced in safely capturing large wild birds/waterfowl — a wildlife professional, rehabilitator, wildlife ambassador, conservation person, veterinarian, or anyone with legitimate experience who may be able to help us safely contain him for transport. 🚗 Transportation toward Sudbury — if anyone is travelling from Thunder Bay toward Sudbury and would be willing to help transport him once he has been safely contained, please reach out. Please do not attempt to chase or capture him on your own. We want this done by someone who understands how to handle a large injured bird without causing further injury or unnecessary stress. This pelican has been sitting in the same area for months. He has made it this far. I can’t stand the thought of simply watching winter arrive knowing that we could have tried to save him. If you know anyone with wildlife-handling experience, please tag them below, send me a private message, or share this post. Even if you can’t personally help, a share could put this in front of the person who can. Let’s get this guy somewhere safe before winter. ❤️🦤 Please share — Thunder Bay, Northwestern Ontario, Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury and anywhere in between. #ThunderBay #WildlifeRescue #PelicanRescue #OntarioWildlife #WildlifeRehabilitation
