next time the country is in trouble and needs to begin a temp. measure to get through it...they won't be able to do it because the last "temp. measure" is still in place 16 years later.

Yes but that’s only the start, electricity costs need to be controlled and these profits they are making need to be greatly reduced or forced to be used to improve the infrastructure. We should not be paying for this. Same with fuel- tax needs to be removed while it’s as high as it is!

USC is a tax we are forced to pay for the incredible actions or in actions of the financial sector in this country. The people who are very unhappy with this permanent temporary tax are those who didn't profit from the crazy times.
