@johnthecraptist: The 9 of Swords Reversed is about being overcome by our thoughts, fears, anguish, anxiety and sorrow—certainly an experience we can all relate to in those times. But there are important distinctions. For one, the Swords are about the intellect—and our thoughts and reality are two different things. When the card is reversed, it often means that this time of anguish is passing, but it can also mean that we’re still in the thick of our anxiety and anguish in a different way, namely by focusing on REASONABLE fears, or on anguish we’re feeling on someone else’s behalf—our empathy, essentially. But a fear being reasonable does not mean it is going to come true. And anguish for others, while it can often spur us into action, can just as often immobilize us. And that is the point, by the way, of our leaders constantly barraging us with nonsense—it’s to keep us in the 9 of Swords as much as possible. Don’t fall for it, and don’t give them that power. #tarot #psychology #thoughts #anxiety #MentalHealth
