@gardenstatetortoise: This Surviving Conjoined Twin Is Finally Free ❤️ Flip is the surviving half of the conjoined painted turtle twins Flip and Flop, who hatched naturally in the wild joined together. After their separation, we unfortunately lost Flop, but Flip continues to thrive. Today, Flip finally gets to begin life on his own in a home designed specifically for his needs. And he won’t be alone! ❤️ We’ve decided to keep Nemo, the little diamondback terrapin we found with an unusually small front leg, his “lucky fin,” which would make life in the wild extremely difficult. Two very special little turtles who were dealt unusual hands by Mother Nature now get a second chance together. Welcome home, Flip and Nemo! 🐢❤️
