⚠️ Scanned on the Exposr app⚠️ ConsumerLab tested gummy multivitamins — every single one failed. 100% failure rate. Some contained nearly double the listed folic acid — approaching the tolerable upper limit where it becomes dangerous. Others had significantly less vitamin D than claimed. Manufacturers admitted they add 20 to 50% extra to offset degradation during storage — meaning what's on the label has almost no relationship to what's in the gummy. 4 out of 5 gummy supplements tested by ConsumerLab didn't match their own label. One of the most popular gummy multivitamins on the market is 60% sugar by weight. Sugar is the number one ingredient. Not vitamins. Not minerals. Sugar. The rest: gelatin, corn starch, citric acid, artificial colours — Red 40, Yellow 5, Blue 1 — and in many brands, titanium dioxide, a whitening agent banned from all food across the EU since 2022 after the EFSA ruled it can damage DNA. Some manufacturers don't even blend the vitamins into the gummy — they spray them onto a candy base. That's not a supplement. That's candy with a vitamin dusted on top. The FDA does not test or approve dietary supplements before they go to market. Nobody is checking. Gummies stick to your teeth, promote cavities, and cause gum inflammation. You're chewing sugar, petroleum dyes, and a DNA-damaging whitener — and calling it a health routine. Buy a capsule. Skip the candy. Scanned on the Exposr app
