I just realized.. The things is, when you take a game character/object to an older, outdated version of the game, one of the most common technical rendering errors come in the form of missing or “blank” textures, resulting in darker color palettes or the lack of proper details, since beta Minecraft didn’t have the same pixel count as modern Minecraft, Steve’s white eyes with pupils take the form of white pupils to account for lower pixel resolution… so Herobrine essentially was Steve from a newer version.

someone said Steve's world was infinite but it was enough for him. minecraft is not infinite. there is a wall. but once you pass it. you start finding some very strange stuff. im not even sure how to explain some of the shit I've witnessed while people played still makes me scratch and itch. but trust me when I say this part, if you should ever find a sword in a chest don't open the chest. don't destroy it or collect it. you've been warned.

The concept of wise people becoming blind from seeing into other dimensions and futures has been a concept for a long time…he’s blind because of his enlightenment.
