Gods, the AMOUNT OF TIMES I see those damn pink "fluffy" metal handcuffs being advertised... 😭😭. These silicone ones do seem like a lovely beginner-friendly option as an alternative! I love my ropes, but it's definitely a material that requires a lot of risk-awareness and knowing how to minimise those risks. For me it's part of what makes it so interesting, and I find it worth investing my time in, but I've had SO many people ask me something along the lines of "Oh I'd love to get started with that, I'd love you tie you, how hard can it be?" NO! USE YOUR BRAIN PLS! Opt for the more foolproof option if you just want to get a taste! Nerve damage isn't sexy!!
