@edmclipig: Real Tiësto took Samuel Barber’s 1936 orchestral “Adagio for Strings” and turned it into one of trance’s defining records. He played it during his historic 2004 Athens Olympic Opening Ceremony set before releasing it as a single from Just Be in January 2005. More than two decades later, its mix of melancholy, tension and euphoric release still feels like the perfect soundtrack for losing yourself for a few minutes. #edm #electronicdancemusic #club #rave #tiesto

Mark Beswick :

there's some of us out there, old enough to remember this being released, having lived in these moments, for which the house, the car,the job,the wife, the kids,is all irrelevant, when you have walked through fields full of buttercups, emitting beams of light at 4am,to climb the highest hill to watch the sun rise, dancing to songs on loop in your mind, there's no coming back to normality after that 😅
