@emperfection1: This video came across my archives from a few years ago. It shows a man working out late at night. The gym is quiet. It’s the last hour before closing. The schedule looked something like this: AM workout. Shower at the gym. Go to work. Uber, DoorDash, or whatever else needed to be done. Workout again. Shower at the gym. Sleep on a sofa or in the car. Wake up and do it again. That man was me. Did I have somewhere I could live? Yes. But there were goals that had to be reached and milestones that had to be met. For a season, I intentionally gave up comfort because what I was trying to build mattered more to me than being comfortable. Sometimes the success of the vision will require more than your current level of comfort. I’m still going through Nehemiah, and I keep seeing pieces of that season differently. - When you have been tasked with an assignment, expect some people not to understand. - The entire path may not be clear, even when the vision of the desired outcome is. - You will not have to do everything alone, but you should be prepared to keep moving when nobody else understands what you see. - And somewhere along the way, you may discover that you are far more creative, ingenious, and tenacious than you ever imagined. - The Lord has already placed within you what you need for the assignment. - Sometimes you don’t discover what He placed in you until the assignment requires it. #keepgoing #growthmindset #brotherhood #discipline #masculinity
