This song reminds me that, you, the annoying one from ms/hs is finally getting along with all the people you always wanted to get along with in school but we would tell ourselves “why don’t they like me” or “why don’t they want to be my friends” and now you’re giving them advice…. It’s like the more you grow up, you realize the cool people were misunderstood they just dealt with it better than us weirdos, now… it’s like we developed a new way of better communicating over the years maybe that’s why the cool kids didn’t want to hang out with us, like we grieved and they dealt, then you realize “oh wow now I can be normal” like how the wheels turn, it’s first the cool kids, now it’s the weird kids knowing that we are free of school, people/bullys, homework…now it’s us worried about what gonna happen next, on why we have this anxiety, on how to return to the past especially in our imagination, think of our fantasies while we listen to “edit audios”. Now it’s us understanding how we felt before now it’s forgiven because we are now in control and don’t need the cool kids because it’s always been us… we were just not appreciated to ourselves
