I remember that (when the book came out), I read several times that many people didn't like it, but for me, it was the opposite; I hadn't connected with Ana's other books until this one, which has easily been the best of hers I've read.

Tbh this is one of my fav books in the series. It really resonated with me because at one point in my life, I nearly had to give up a guy similar to Dom (not a rich guy but the hard worker turned successful/the guy who was so so sincere and thoughtful at first but then stopped). I’m very thankful that my case was a lot better, that I only needed to say it once to him and he changed right away and worked on it. While some argue that Ale shouldn’t have forgiven him so fast, I think the pace was perfect for the type of people they are.
