AND Military Gyms are governmental non-profit agencies (funded by MWR which is funded partially by the "profits" generated by retail and services we buy from via AAFES & NEX and partially through charitable donations raised during the annual MWR booster drives. Their mere existence over generations of military service members proves that gyms don't have to be for profit enterprises if the just right public model is applied. (And yeah the culture in military gyms can be very toxic especially under toxic leadership like we have now.)
