@oniichanhq: The longest running voice of Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh, Ken Sansom, Passed Away Fourteen Years Ago Today at 85 🎙️🕊️ Ken Sansom became the unmistakable voice of Rabbit, bringing the organized, easily frustrated, but ultimately caring resident of the Hundred Acre Wood to life across more than two decades of Disney’s Winnie the Pooh productions. Beginning with The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Sansom carried Rabbit through television series, animated films, holiday specials, direct-to-video adventures, and video games, making his performance one of the character’s longest-running and most familiar voices. Some of his memorable appearances as Rabbit include: • The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh • Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too • Boo to You Too! Winnie the Pooh • Pooh’s Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin • A Winnie the Pooh Thanksgiving • Winnie the Pooh: Seasons of Giving • The Tigger Movie • The Book of Pooh • Mickey’s Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse • A Very Merry Pooh Year • Piglet’s Big Movie • Winnie the Pooh: Springtime with Roo • Pooh’s Heffalump Movie • Pooh’s Heffalump Halloween Movie • Kingdom Hearts and other Winnie the Pooh game appearances Through all those different versions of the Hundred Acre Wood, Sansom kept Rabbit’s fussy personality, nervous energy, and softer side instantly recognizable. Fourteen years after his passing, Ken Sansom remains closely tied to Rabbit, a voice that accompanied generations of Winnie the Pooh fans across television, movies, specials, and games. 🐰 #kensansom #winniethepooh
