@dancetown: You watch the teacher more than yourself. You keep checking the person next to you to see if you’re doing it right. You finally remember one part of the combo… and immediately forget what comes after it. And when the teacher says “one more time,” you suddenly realize you’ve been doing the same 8 counts for the last 20 minutes 😭 We see some version of this in almost every beginner class. And honestly, that’s part of learning — you’re supposed to look a little lost before it starts feeling natural. #charlottedance
