A young man was taken away from his family due to xenophobia, so if it creates a wider conversation, then we should feel free to address it. I have experienced such dialogical xenophobia in church, work, school and friendship from people from that community. So it needs addressing; we cannot wash away a community's pain just to make someone else happy. Thank God I have always been a proud African, ready to fight to defend myself, as that is what some of the circumstances and ignorance directed at me at times required. On this platform, we see it each day. So we can hold white people responsible for what they did to our communities. then we can name and shame others and bring attention to it. this also does not take away, from the Carribbean children who were also merciless bully for having African features, who are also on this platform talking about this situation.
