6.7 powerstroke beat everyone at their own game. They make more torque than a Duramax and Cummins, peaking lower than both of them. They party up high like a Duramax, and make plenty of torque down low, beating Cummins at their game.

The l5p blows head gaskets, (just like every other engine) eats lifters.. (gm switched to a Ls lifter design, while uncommon, they do still break cranks. 🫣 I would agree with you the 6.7 Cummins is probably the best engine of that era

sorry I'm still going to stick with a Cummins. ive had 5.9/6.7 Cummins,LLY and LBZ and a 6.0 and 7.3.......im still going Cummins. nothing,for me,beats the power and reliability HEAVY on the reliability. you can fix a blown head gasket on the side of the road in a 5.9. can't do that to any of the Vs. simple,not very many parts ,it's a tried and true design literally moving the world. from semis to buses to generators etc etc.
