Honestly having a hard time putting together words to try and explain this whole process, as I'm learning it as I go... but I'm going to word vomit on ya. Yesterday was my very first time on microprocessor knees, I'm trialing the ottobock genium x4 at the moment. Today as seen in the videos I got the hang of getting the knee to swing! The right side is easier for me at the moment so I was focusing on consistency on the right leg. I can do the left leg when I also focus on just one side at a time, but it's more difficult- part of that is due to the weight load needed to engage swing causes the socket to dig into my adductors which is all bruised from yesterdays 2 hour appt. But I'm freaking proud of myself and very happy with where I am at right now. Even my prosthetist Lisa who's the goat says she blown away with the progress I made today. Big round of applause for me!
