Adrian Garcia :
For the people who don’t know. Pistachios don’t take much water, that’s why they are over planting in Cali. Almonds take far more water and in areas where water is becoming scarce they are replacing it with pistachios

The Truth :
Maybe we stop growing a crop that isn’t suitable or sustainable for a certain area and instead we adapt. Just a thought.

Not Real Name 🇨🇦 :
For an area that is in drought and less and less water being available I will never understand why such water intensive crops get planted? Trying to get a building permit is next impossible but this is all good? Same with almonds?

Yeah. Scream ay Sacramento not the growers. Watee needs to be cheaper for farmers in the central valley. The Extreme El Nino not helping either. They will recover next year as long as Sacramento stops over taxing land and delivers the water🤯🤯🤯
