They don't even have to be life sustainable meds. I have tried and quit 4 basic BP meds. I am not trading one problem for 2 others. And then they say they can give you a medication for the side effects... Absolutely not! I'm not going to take pills to control my entire life!

I will not take requip for restless legs because of Gi issues, I refuse to take high doses of prednisone because every side effect you can name. Refuse tizanadine for spasms ( they make me actually hallucinate) I won’t take copaxone, or Plegridy because they make me sick. I’m a mess.
